Behavioral Consultation Project
The Behavioral Consultation Project provides free, on-site consultation to childcare and preschool programs serving birth–5 year olds who are not yet in Kindergarten. We work collaboratively with providers and families to address behavioral, temperamental, developmental or mental health issues. Early Intervention
Home Visit Program![]()
For families whose young children are experiencing developmental difficulties or who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability, ELI’s early intervention home visiting services provide individualized developmental instruction in the home and in other natural environments.
The Early Intervention Home Visit Program serves children from birth through 36 months of age in both English and in Spanish. If you live in Sonoma County, California and wish to make a referral, please call ELI at (707) 591-0170.
Infant S.O.S.
A free, county-wide program that provides support to parents and caregivers of difficult to comfort, "fussy" babies during their first year of life.
Services include: phone consultation, home visits, access to community resources & support, and support groups. Whether your baby is hard to comfort, has feeding or sleeping issues, or you have questions about development, we are here to help!

Playgroups Services
Educationally based playgroups that offer a child and his/her family the opportunity to meet and interact with other children and families in a safe and supportive environment.

Wee Play Community Preschool
ELI is proud to offer a new preschool program. Wee Play Community Preschool is a small, inclusive preschool play program designed especially for children who are not quite ready for larger preschool environments. Our progressive approach to the early education of children (3–5 years) will provide emergent curriculum based on developmentally appropriate, child-centered interests.

Watch Me Grow (WMG) ♥ Mirame Crecer
A county-wide program providing social emotional and developmental screenings to children ages birth through age 5 who would otherwise not be screened, WMG connects families to services in the community and assists them in making referrals to mental health or developmental services as needed.
To make a referral to this program, download a Universal Referral Form, complete, and email to eli(at)earlylearninginstitute(dot)com. Please type "Watch Me Grow" in the subject line of your email.

Additional Services
Evaluation and On-going Assessment
A service designed to provide identification of at-risk and/or developmentally
disabled children by providing Evaluations and on-going assessments within
the local community. Free to all parents or care providers.
High-Risk Infant Follow Up Program
ELI is contracted through California Children's Services to provide
developmental assessments for premature infants and their families. These assessments
provide important information on how these children are achieving their
developmental milestones.
Tech 'n Tots Program

Families make living and learning environments more user
friendly for their very young children
with special needs.
Toy Lending Library
Provides stimulating and
educational toys, books and sensory art materials for a wide range of children
at no cost to their families.
