A community based developmental social play group. Opportunities for spontaneous and guided developmental play and social interaction for young children with special needs within an integrated community setting are provided.
Play activities are rhythm and movement- based which often times support and enhance emerging language skills.
Families and their children are strongly supported as inclusive peer interactions between the children and the adults are encouraged and facilitated. This class is co-taught by Child Development Specialists with a background in Music and Community Inclusion Support Staff.
